Passport Photos are not all the same!
Posted by Wayne Dobson on
One of the first things we ask when customers come in for a passport photo (after asking "is the photo for a passport?") is "what country is this for?".
This is because there are slight differences in the requirements between countries. It could be as simple as background or as complex as headwear. Knowing which passport you're applying for helps us take the right photo first time and supply a printed or digital file that meets the requirements of your application.
If you need photos for visa's as well, let us know when you come in so we can provide all your images in the correct format first time.
We use dedicated software to produce the correct output for 525 different ID formats (at time of writing) for more than 125 countries. When a change is made to a country's requirements, our system updates to ensure it stays current. There is no need for you to print or bring in a spec sheet from your travel agent.
If your photo is rejected or unable to be uploaded to your application, we will reprocess or retake the photo at no further charge to you. We'd like to say this never happens, but there are humans involved...
It takes less than an hour to take and process your photo, there's no need to book a time just come in to either store before 4pm to get it the same day.
