How does DashCam mode recording activate when I turn my bike on?

When the camera is set to DashCam mode and you have it connected to a USB power supply (using the supplied TRS lead), the camera will automatically turn on and begin recording when it detects power. Make sure the USB port is configured to turn on/off with your bikes ignition.

WHAT SHOULD I SEE?

When the USB port is powered up, the GHOSTXL will beep (if the speaker is on) and the DRIFT logo will appear. Shortly after the display will go green (video mode) then go blank for a moment as the camera switches to DashCam, it will then go Red and recording will begin.
